"For the design of Quality Meats, we chose ASI's reclaimed End Grain Wood Block as the signature material, a perfect modern reference to the early 1900's butcher shop cutting boards we used as inspiration for the design. Taken out of its industrial context, the rich texture of the end grain creates a lush backdrop in key transition areas of the restaurant — entranceways, staircases and the private dining rooms. Finding the right products for the project is key to our design philosophy, and ASI provided the material that perfectly suited the aesthetic and the concept."
