Trendspotting at NeoCon- Design Impacts Lives

Coming back from exhibiting at NeoCon 2017, it was evident that Corporate design, now more so than ever, focuses on employees overall well-being. There are strong influences from hospitality and a focus on health when creating work environments. You can see this in the "third space" or areas for teams to collaborate, vibrant workstations, chic office furniture, cafe inspired corporate eateries and dynamic reception areas.

NeoCon was buzzing with innovative products that enhance wellness and creativity in the workplace. During the curation process for Architectural Systems' gallery in the Materials Pavilion, ASI carefully chose materials that would lend themselves to hospitable corporate spaces. ASI's dimensional surfacing materials - from recycled coffee grinds and oxidized metal wall panels to colorful wall tiles, including shimmering Infused Glass Mosaics - were some of the finishes on display ideal for the modern workplace: a cultural and social hub to fuel creativity and get things done.

Walking the show, we continued to see more hospitality elements including stand-out hues for meeting areas, think pods, hotel-inspired office furniture, living walls to promote wellness and more!
